Leveraging Hong Kong's business prowess, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) aggregates market intelligence and cultivates partnerships to propel business growth.

Mandy Ng, Associate Director, Business Development, Exhibitions and Digital Business, HKTDC, announced, "Five international trade fairs will kick off in Hong Kong early next year, offering Indonesian traders and suppliers an ideal platform to expand into new markets." The fairs include:
- HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair (January 6-9, 2025)
- HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair (January 6-9, 2025)
- International Stationery & School Supplies Fair (January 6-9, 2025)
- HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show (March 2-6, 2025)
- HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show (March 4-8, 2025)
In 2023/24, HKTDC hosted over 30 major events, attracting 28,880 exhibitors and 511,100 buyers.
Mandy Ng noted, "Since international travel resumed in February 2023, we've seen global exhibitors and buyers flock back to Hong Kong, reaffirming its status as a premier business hub."
Indonesia ranked 23rd among Hong Kong's trading partners in 2023 and sixth among ASEAN members. By September 2024, bilateral trade exceeded USD 3.5 billion, with Indonesia serving as Hong Kong's 22nd-largest export market (USD 1.9 billion) and 19th-largest import source (USD 1.6 billion).
HKTDC invites Indonesian businesses to explore opportunities and global markets through its trade fairs. Indonesian buyers, distributors, and retailers are encouraged to visit Hong Kong to source products.
